Vou tentar explicar aqui como fiz a bolsa acima.

     I’ll try to explain how I did the purse above.

     A receita para esta bolsa é um pouco diferente, ao invés de medir em centímetros, vamos usar repetições do diagrama como medida.

     The pattern for it is a bit different, since instead of using centimeters, we’re going to used the pattern repeats as a measurement.

     Na primeira bolsa que fiz, eu usei Sugar n’ Cream, mas acredito que Fiocel da Pengouin ou barbante mais fino também funciona (para fazer no mesmo tamanho).

     I used Sugar n’ Cream on the first bag I made, but some Brazilian cotton yarns and even thin cotton twine can be used.

     Tem amostra não, porque eu não fiz nenhuma Como as medidas são baseadas no gráfico, mesmo que o tamanho não seja o mesmo, a bolsa vai ficar proporcional.

     No swatch, sorry, I didn’t do one :P  but since we’ll used the repeat as measuring unit, even if your gauge isn’t the same as mine, the purse will be proportional.

Material:
500g de Sugar n’ Cream (ou mais ou menos a mesma quantidade do fio escolhido)
agulhas compatíveis com a linha usada (eu usei 3,5)

You’ll need:
1 cone of Sugar n’ Cream (or aprox. 500 g of the choosen yarn)
a pair of straight needles compatible with the yarn (I’ve used 3.5 mm, but I’m crazy)

     O primeiro pto de todas as carr. é passado sem fazer.
     Aba, topo e costas : Monte 40 ptos na agulha e trabalhe segundo o gráfico por 5 repetições. Arremate com i-cord.

     The first stitch on all rows is slipped without being worked.
     Flap, top and back: Cast on 40 st and work the chart 5 times. Do an i-cord bind off.

Bella Knitting Tutorials: The I-Cord Bind Off

     Fundo : Monte 40 ptos e trabalhe em meia por 30 carr.  Arremate.

     Bottom: Cast on 40 stitches and work in ST st for 30 rows.  Bind off.

     Frente: Monte 40 ptos e trabalhe em meia por 84 carr.  Arremate com i-cord.

     Front: Cast on 40 st and work in St st for 84 rows.  I-cord bind off.

     Laterais e alça: Monte 16 ptos e trabalhe em meia por 84 carr, tricote em barra 1/1 pelo comprimento desejado para a alça ( +/- 1 metro), volte a trabalhar em meia por mais 84 carr e arremate. 

     Sides and handle: Cast on 16 st, work in St st for 84 rows, change to rib 1/1 and knit the desired lenght (aprox. 1 m), change to St st, knit 84 more rows and bind off.

     Costure o fundo à frente e às costas (o i-cord será o acabamento da aba e “boca” da bolsa). Costure as laterais (em meia) aos lados das costas, fundo e frente.

     Sew one side of the bottom to the front cast on, the other side to the back cast on (the i-cord will be on the opening on the front and at the end of the flap).  Sew the sides to bottom, front and back on both sides.

OBS.: Vc pode montar os pontos em i-cord e tricotar em seqüência: aba, topo, costas, fundo e frente e arrematar tb em i-cord. (Por que eu não fiz assim? Eu levo um tempão pra montar ptos em i-cord…)

Note: You can do an i-cord cast on and knit in this order: flap, top, back, bottom and front. Then  do an i-cord bind off.  (Why didn’t I do it this way?  It takes me a long time to do an i-cord cast on…)

     Se vc, como eu, detesta costurar, levante os pontos do fundo na aba e tricote o fundo, faça uma carr em tricot e tricote a frente. Levante os pontos nas laterais do fundo para as laterais.

     If you, like me, hate to sew, pick up stitches on the back cast on and knit the bottom, purl one row and knit the front.  Pick up stitches on the sides of the bottom to make the sides.

     No momento estou tricotando outra usando lã pura para feltrar - se der certo, posto aqui depois. As medidas são as mesmas.

     Right now I’m knitting another one using wool so I can felt it - if it works I’ll post it here.  Same measurements.

     4CF: passe 2 ptos para a agulha auxiliar na frente do trabalho, tricote 2 ptos em meia, tricote os 2 ptos da agulha auxiliar em meia.
                             3TB: passe 1 pto em tricot para a agulha auxiliar atrás do trabalho, tricote 2 ptos em meia, tricote o pto da agulha auxiliar em tricot.
                             3TF: passe 2 ptos para a agulha auxiliar na frente do trabalho, tric 1 pto em tricot, tricote os 2 ptos da agulha auxiliar em meia.

                             meia=knit
                             tricot=purl
                             4CF=2st on cable needle on front, knit 2, knit 2 from CN
                             3TB=1st on cable needle on back, knit 2, purl 1 from CN
                             3TF=2st on cable needle on front, purl 1, knit 2 from CN
