Tenho algumas novidades pra contar, mas toda vez que vou escrever dá um branco…as palavras não saem…alguém mais tem o mesmo problema?
I have a lot to news to tell, but when I sit down to write I get writer’s block…the words just don’t come out. Does anyone else have this problem when blogging?
Comecei mais um projeto, fiz engenharia reversa no Curves of Pursuit. A receita original usa cordões de tricot, mas eu estou tricotando em ponto meia (eu não viro o trabalho e fazer ponto tricot de trás pra frente é um pé).
Hoje, procurando o link da manta pra colocar aqui achei este blog com fotos do mesmo projeto em andamento e descobri que não precisava arrematar cada triângulo…:P O efeito final é mais regular, mas deixar tantos pontos à espera…sei não, sou muito estabanada.
Estou me divertindo bastante com esse projeto, a manta “cresce” rápido e a ilusão de ótica é deslumbrante. Eu queria fazer ton sur ton, mas a loja não tinha cores suficientes.
I started (yet) another project, I reverse engineered the Curves of Pursuit. The original pattern asks for garter stich, but I’m using stockinette (I don’t turn the work around and for me purling backwards is a RPITA).
Today, while searching for the afgan link I found this blog with photos of the work in progress and realized I didn’t need to cast off each triangle…:P The final effect is more even that way but to leave that many stitches on hold…I don’t know I’m way to clumsy for that.
I’m loving this project, the afgan “grows” fast and the optical illusion is fascinating. I wanted to use matching tones but the store didn’t have enough yarn with similar shades.
Está começando a esfriar por aqui e a vontade de tricotar meias está indo pro saco. Fiz duas repetições da meia pra a Harvest Sock Swap e deixei de lado. Isso não quer dizer que não estou fazendo nada pra minha parceira - achei umas coisinhas bem legais pra mandar e levei a meia pro meu encontro de tricot sábado passado (mais conversa que tricot, portanto não avancei muito). Também comecei a tricotar uma bolsa nas cores favoritas dela - esta aqui.
It’s finally beginning to cool down around here and the will to knit socks is vanishing. I made two pattern repeats on the sock for my Harvest Sock Swap pal and stopped. That doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything for her - I found some cute stuff to send and did take the sock to my knitting meeting last saturday (more talk than knitting, so I didn’t go far). I’ve also started to knit her a bag using her favorite colors - this one.
Pra terminar, eu acabei 1 1/2 projetos!

To end this post, I finished 1 1/2 projects! The bag up there is going to one of mine swap pals. It’s kind of a Frankenstein pattern, cables find on the web and books, idea for changing needles here.
Fiz um pé da meia de aranha, e neste último final de semana descobri que preciso fazer o outro, já que o presenteado vem visitar no próximo final de semana…A não ser…que eu deixe pra dar as meias no natal ;D
I finished one spider sock and last weekend I found out that the person who will get this is coming on the next one, so I need to do the second sock…Unless…I give them to him as a Christmas gift ;D
